Amazing! World's oldest postcard sold around £31,000
Pioneer Era, 1870-1898
That's the name of the first postcard printed on America with pictures on it. These were the first postcards to have illustrated messages like this one has. Back on those days this type of cards were not commercially produced. They were called "pioneers". This old postcard was sold on London for a record amount of £31,750. According to postal historian Edward Proud this amount is a record for a postcard.
It caricatures the postal service by showing post office "scribes" sitting around an enormous inkwell.

Postcard Marketing Benefits
-peewee
Every company should be trying to use postcards as a marketing tool. Postcards have been used with great success by many companies in the past and present and you shouldn’t stay out. It doesn’t matter what type of business you own or want to promote because postcards are actually very versatile and effective.
One of the best advantages about postcards is that you can send them to a target audience and you already have their information. This can help you to build a great marketing strategy as you will then know who your customers are and how you can approach them.
A postcard, compared to many other forms of advertisement like brochures or flyers, is very easy to design. The space it has lets you transmit a nice and direct message to the persons that looks at it.
Postcards are also very economical because you don’t need to send them with an envelope. The postage is very cheap and the best part about not sending an envelope is that they will be in full view and less likely to be disregarded with junk mail. Your design really comes to matter in this moment so you really need to have a good print with vivid colors. You need to think of a way to draw attention and since they are so economical you will have the time to see what works the best with your customers.
Remember that you could also know the audience you would be sending your postcards so you can be sure to design a strategy aimed to them and see how it works. The results you obtain from using postcards as a marketing tool can be seen almost immediately.
Also, the most postcards you print, the less you would be spending and you will be doing all your marketing in the most efficient way. If you also have a low budget for marketing, you will notice that using postcards will be very profitable.

Awesome business cards.
Well, we all know how important that first impression is, and what a great way to give a great first impression than using the right design on your business card, specially for a graphic designer, what a great way to let everyone to see how creative and talented you are, I mean, at the moment that a customer has your business card in his or her hand, that is the exact same moment that they will be able to see a little bit of your work, how cool is that?, imagine the impact that you could make on him or her, from now on he or she will have you always on his or her mind for any graphic design job related.
